Names can carry so much meaning. In fact, some would say they harbor too much meaning.
Research shows that our names can have a huge impact on many outcomes in our lives—from how we are perceived on first impressions to our likelihood of advancing in our careers. Our names can even impact who we choose to partner with romantically.
So it makes sense that every year, countless websites publish lists upon lists of baby names.
These lists cover a wide range of categories, including names that sound “sporty,” “whimsical,” and “inspired by Disney.”
And now I want to know if you would actually name your hypothetical baby any of these “Old Money” names.
I’m not asking if you would literally name your baby these names, but in theory, is it a name you would genuinely consider?
