Did you know Meta CEO Caught Liking Spam AI Image From Account That Also Shares Pictures of Amputated Children

Mark Zuckerberg is in the hot seat after his account was seen putting a heart on a questionable AI image that went viral on his platform.

While the image might appear harmless at first glance, new details are emerging about how it arises from a spam AI account that generates more questionable pictures. This includes heartwrenching scenes of children with amputations.

The picture that Zuckerberg liked comprises a horse made from bread and was shared through Facebook. It’s commonly seen making the rounds to link the viewer to another offsite location filled with AI-made content farms. Dubbed Faithful, it does the exact opposite of its name.

You’ll find some more AI slop content and just goes to show how Meta continues to struggle at restricting spam of this kind. Did we mention how much it’s paying users for publishing this kind of material that keeps making viral rounds online?

So far, it’s gotten more than 2.7M reactions with over 193k comments and 98k shares during the time when this was written. The fact that Zuckerberg also is part of the gang leaves many people with questions on their minds about his intentions.

The page owned by a Polish user keeps on sharing another viral AI picture featuring a child without an arm with the caption, ‘My mom says I’m beautiful but I’ve not been liked by anyone’. Users do end up falling into the trap again and keep on liking this spam material, giving the content the boost it needs for monetization.

The page keeps on publishing viral clicks of elderly individuals who are said to be over 100 and continue celebrating birthdays. The hope is to get love and reactions and that’s exactly what they’re getting out of the spam content. More examples you might have come across include AI sculptures, aging couples, wood sculptures, bottle sculptures, and inspirational quotes related to religion. There are even reels that keep getting posted from Reddit or published with AI text. And yes, explicit-themed content is also a part of the list.

So how exactly are these dubious accounts making money? Well, they’re enticed with links that take the viewer to another site bombarded with ads. The more you click on the content, the more the money it makes as ads keep on rolling. Also, the more you interact with it, the more viral it becomes.
