Toyota announced at CES 2025 that its next-generation vehicles will feature automated driving capabilities powered by Nvidia's Drive AGX Orin supercomputer and DriveOS, promising real-time AI processing for safer, more advanced driving experiences.
The partnership with Nvidia extends Toyota's existing use of Nvidia’s cloud-based systems for developing autonomous vehicle technology, with Drive AGX being part of a broader end-to-end self-driving toolkit that also includes DGX and Omniverse platforms.
At CES 2025, Nvidia also highlighted about starting a long-term partnership with Aurora Innovation and Continental for deploying driverless trucks, as the company anticipates its automotive business will reach $5 billion by fiscal year 2026.
