Did you know ouTube Expands Generative AI Soundtrack Tools Amid New Beat Options for Shorts
YouTube is rolling out a host of unique changes for the app, and we’re covering each of them in detail for you below.
For
starters, you can say hello to new generative AI soundtrack tools. The
platform says it’s expanding access to features inside the AI music
domain, where Creator Music can give users the chance to produce
customized tracks in-stream.
Creator Music first launched in 2023
as a test and is now getting rolled out to the majority of users. So if
you don’t have access to it right now, it’s coming soon. Those who do
can find it on the YouTube Studio, where they can produce new AI tracks
through YouTube.
These customized instrumentals for videos can transform content using
AI. To avail, creators can select the Music Assistant tab found in
Creator Music. As shown in the example, users add a new description for
the music they want for videos, and the app’s music production tool can
provide audio clips, depending on the explainer.
This might not
be great news for those in the stock music world and others who make
revenue from music. However, it’s a great step for creators that might
be running short on cash. In this way, they can come up with the right
type of music for clips through such a process.
The app says that
users can download any kind of generated music tracks for videos
without worries about getting slapped with copyright claims. In other
news, the app is also experimenting with beat matching for audio on
Shorts. In this manner, users can simply match videos with the music
tracks.
The app says that by automatically mixing audio and video features
together, it can assist in reducing editing issues while using these
video or picture collections. After selecting several photos and videos
from the phone’s gallery, you get the option to automatically produce
short videos synced to tracks. Just select the right media clip, click
on a song of your choice, and the rest is done. The app can arrange
those clippings to a great, harmonious beat.
The platform shared how it’s testing out the feature with a group of creators right now.
Last but not least, the platform also shared how it’s looking to clarify the real purpose of the Subscribe and Join options. We’ll update you when we get more information on that soon.
