SQL vs NoSQL.

Most “SQL vs NoSQL” debates miss the point.

The real question is:

Where do you want complexity to live?

Data modeling & transactional guarantees (SQL)

or

Data distribution & consistency trade-offs (NoSQL).

SQL optimizes for correctness first.

NoSQL optimizes for availability at scale.

Everything else is a trade-off.

Remember, many production systems don’t choose one. They use SQL and NoSQL; each where it fits best.

Architecture is composition, not allegiance.
