We lost another animation legend today

Roger Allers passed away at 76. An influential American animation director and writer, he helped shape Disney classics such as Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Little Mermaid and more!

His career also included directing The Prophet and the Oscar-nominated The Little Matchgirl, and developing Kingdom of the Sun, later reworked into The Emperor’s New Groove.
