Did you know A New Survey Shows How Serious Americans Are Taking their Health in 2025
According to a recent survey conducted by Talker Research on the behalf of Pendulum,
there are some new health trends in 2025 that many Americans are
adopting. The survey was done among 2,000 respondents to know what are
their health resolutions, trends forecast and average health rating in
2025. 34% of the participants said that they are going to cut off
processed foods while 33% are going to pursue more healthy aging
activities. There were also respondents who are trying to improve their
gut health (22%). As it is an era of technology and artificial
intelligence, 22% believe that there will be more healthcare integration
in wearable technology and 21% believe that AI will be integrated by
it.
31% of the respondents of the survey said they would stop
using social media if they can feel 100% healthy without it, with 64%
saying that it is hard for them to stay awake during the day. 90% of the
Americans have made their 2025 resolutions around their health too. 53%
of the respondents said that they want to workout more, followed by 49%
who want to maintain a healthy wait and 29% want to go outdoors often
in 2025.
The results of the survey show that Americans are getting serious about their health and are taking a holistic approach for their well being and health. They are trying to find the problems in their health and taking measures to fix them, rather than just scratching the surface. There are a lot of Americans who have poor digestive health (43%) and they reported having digestive issues at least 2 times a day on average. But there are also some people (6%) who feel digestive issues the whole day. 72% of the respondents said that they feel embarrassed in front of others because of their digestive issues while 48% said that most of the time, they are not aware of the symptoms their stomachs are giving.
To have better health, 69% of the respondents also reported taking vitamin supplements daily, while 33% take herbal or probiotic supplements. 62% of the respondents who reported taking a probiotic supplement said that they don't feel any effects on their health, with 66% saying that they don't even know the benefits of using probiotics. Americans are spending $588 annually on those probiotics, with 14% of the respondents saying that they are even willing to spend $10,000 if it means that they can become healthy. 83% of the respondents agree that having good gut health and metabolism is important for overall health. Respondents said that they are aware that improving their gut health can increase their quality of life by 46% on average.
