The only real requirements:
→ Strong programming skills
→ Solid math foundation (linear algebra, stats, calculus)
→ Ability to build complex technical projects independently
→ Genuine curiosity about AI
As a Resident, you’ll work on real AI research - training models, running experiments, and exploring new ideas - with mentorship from top OpenAI engineers.
Full-time. Fully paid ($18.3K/month). Includes relocation to SF.
Top performers may be offered full-time roles at OpenAI after the program.
