Facebook To Bring "Favorites" List And A Landing Story UI For Messenger Stories There is no doubt in the fact that Facebook is eyeing for a future in modifying the stories feature to a point that more and more users should get obsessed with it. As they are making subtle attempts to bring their new vision to reality, recent reports suggest that Facebook will soon roll out a “Favorites” list for sending stories.  This further gets combined with another addition in Facebook Messenger as you might also see landing Story UI for gallery view, opening camera or opening text in the upcoming days.  The proofs of these changes were revealed by  Jane Munchun Wong , who is known of breaking the secrets related to the developments of social media world. While she gets it right most of the times, her recent tweet includes a screenshot in which Facebook seems to be working on "Favorites" list, a feature that will let users share or send stories to friends they often interac

A Plague Tale: Innocence Review

Image
A Plague Tale: Innocence Review Death is so commonplace in videogames that you quickly become numb to it. Our brains are smart enough to separate what’s real from fiction, recognising a gory mess of pixels as a false illusion. I can watch people get torn apart by gunfire in games for hours, but put me in front of a real life UFC fight and I’ll quickly feel uncomfortable. A Plague Tale: Innocence questions this tried-and-true notion, making me grimace at the acts I was responsible for, navigating mass graves amidst rotting fields as the Black Death ravages 14th century France. Its world is battered and broken, echoing the hopelessness many must have felt as disease obliterated the population. Asobo Studio has crafted a startling narrative adventure that doesn’t hold back, showing what its young protagonists must do to survive and save the ones they love. It’s undeniably flawed, held back by clumsy acting and an inconsistent story. But despite all this, A Plague Tale manage

Instagram to soon allow users to appeal their ‘reported posts’

Instagram to soon allow users to appeal their ‘reported posts’ With Instagram, it was always easy for users to report posts that violate the social media companies’ policies or hurt their sentiments. However, there was no way to oppose the reported posts. But that will soon change. At the  recently held media briefing  in New York City, the company announced to soon introduce a new appeal feature where the users can request to review the content that was taken down. The procedure, just like the reporting feature would take place from within the app.  According to the company, the appeals would be sent to a reviewer who would have the liability to restore posts if they seem harmless. They further explained that the in-app appeal tool would initially be for posts that included nudity and will expand to other areas over time. They also plan to introduce the same format for accounts that were removed for some reasons.  The new feature is expected to roll out within a few months.  Twitt

Facebook Revamps the Birthday E-Card for Stories in an Attempt to Make Story Feature More Creative

Facebook Revamps the Birthday E-Card for Stories in an Attempt to Make Story Feature More Creative When was the last time you missed a friend’s birthday or forgot about it? Remembering birthday has now become old school, most of the people simply get Facebook notifications when they have a friend’s birthday. Just like the notification of any other change on Facebook, the user receives a notification about the birthday of a friend and with just one click/tap he can write something on the wall or message him in private. However, with the recent birthday e-card, the Facebook team has tried adding spice to the boring birthday messages that most of the people were using. As recently, Facebook has replicated the daily Story idea of Snapchat on  Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram . They have thought of a very productive use of these Stories that all the other social media networks have yet not used before. Where this might come as a shock for most users because Facebook has completely been m

Facebook introduces an automated ad builder and new video creative tools for SMEs

Facebook introduces an automated ad builder and new video creative tools for SMEs Facebook  is introducing a number of new products  that would appeal to the small business owners.  One of the new features is the Automated Ads system where the business owner can get an automated outline for their ad campaign on the basis of a few questions. Since small business owners often have limited marketing experience, the team of Facebook also aims to help them analyze their target audience, budget, and even duration of the ad campaigns.  On the other hand, those marketers who don’t want to opt for Automated ads can still buy ads the way they did before. Moreover, you can still, take recommendations by Facebook but there is no compulsion when it comes to accepting the ideas. Facebook will, however, keep the advertising campaign transparent for the business owners and would keep them notified about the campaign at all times.  "We believe in empowering small businesses through our free an

Google's Sundar Pichai points finger at Apple’s security pitch says, privacy is not a luxury After the biggest data scandal of Facebook, privacy has become a tech mantra that has hypnotized all. Most of the bigger tech companies are now considering privacy as a major concern for their business. In a recent  interview with The New York times , Sundar Pichai (the CEO of Google) very bluntly said that privacy is not a luxury that can be offered to people who can afford to buy the premium product and services. Some say that Pichai was pointing fingers at Apple’s products because they are selling their products at a very high rate. On Tuesday during the developers’ conference, the CEO unveiled  a smartphone worth $399  that was comparatively 50% cheaper than the competitor  Apple phone  that is worth $749. The newly launched phone by Google offers the latest privacy features in Android operating system that are similar to the privacy features included in the iPhone XR. Since Apple has

Apple Releases Warren Buffett-Starrer Game after Tim Cook Joked about it Tim Cook, CEO of Apple was seen talking about a game idea for iPhone, at Berkshire Hathaway’s Annual Meeting. He, apparently on a lighter note, joked about a game in which Warren Buffett could be seen tossing newspapers.  The idea turned out to be true as a game in real was released on Apple App Store with the title  Warren Buffett’s Paper Wizard , in which you have to toss papers and in return earn “Warren Bucks”.  Though the credits for the title are given to “Wildlife Design”, but the game’s terms and its splash screen hints that the company itself is behind it.  After eleven years Apple has released its first game which is a milestone in itself.  In 2008 iPod game, Texas Hold’em was created  into iPhone compatible version.  This does not indicate that Apple will be now focusing on in-house game development but are trying to do their bit in this regard.
